Epic holiday! Time to reflect & do a new testimonial….

I have just returned from a brilliant holiday in Gran Canaria and this is what our business is all about! Family time, creating memories and spending time with those you love. Thanks to this business I was still earning money whilst enjoying a well deserved break. I was also able to treat us to a holiday family shoot at the hotel grounds to capture precious moments.

Back to it, I’m busier than ever! With a rather large team and more waiting to get started… how did my big adventure start?

Sales Leadership started with me! In 2013 I applied to become a Representative and a Sales leader at the same time! Slightly crazy thing to do when I had only just moved to Huddersfield. As a family we had just moved to Yorkshire after spending 10 years down South. My husband Mark, work commitments brought us to Yorkshire and we did not know a single person. I felt this opportunity would be perfect to get to know people, make friends and for me to spend time with my son Jacob. Jacob was 18 months old when I started my journey. Mandy Grace and Louise Keye came to see me to go through the business model and I was excited by how flexible the opportunity was, and the earning potential was huge! There were no big bonuses when I started, I focussed on building a team with like minded people, that would eventually lead onto the bigger earnings. I had to see the bigger picture from day 1 and build a business.

I wanted to create the foundations and work on depth to create residual income to give me the lifestyle business I desired.  I had to recruit like crazy for this to work, maximum effort required. Focus and determination from day 1.

Mandy showed me the good old fashioned method of recruiting by door to door, this is still my favourite method as you get to know the person face to face. I learnt fast and started going to events and I also set up my media for online recruiting. I was open to all methods of recruiting. “Don’t ever put all your rods into one pond, the fish might dry up!” Good advice. The best advice I’ve received from Louise is to self educate on network marketing, and to forget everything corporate.  This took me a while as I’m from senior corporate and used to managing people! Leading people is hugly different. I took Louise’s advice and started to read the books and my outlook on life and this business soon changed. I quickly became Independent and developed the business my way.

Personal development is a massive journey you have to go on yourself to fully understand the network marketing industry. You need to be a good listener and good at supporting your team. The more you develop and grow, the more respected you are to your team. After going through many, many, obstacles, I’m in a good position to mentor my team and help develop down lines. In fact my role has changed to be more of a Network Marketing coach and help develop people.

“People are people”. My husband Mark says this a lot to me and yes he is right! I took on lots of Sales leaders in my first year and Representatives. Only the best stayed, the ones that could deal with the rollercoaster journey! This is a relationship business and friendships started to develop. In my first year I acheived Level 5 Advanced Sales Leader with sales over £20,000 a campaign.

“Don’t judge people, offer the opportunity to everyone” Year 2 was a game changer for me, I had set my sites on Level 6 Senior Leader and that’s what I wanted to acheive. A few Sales leaders left the business as they do! At the beginning of that year and I needed to replace and grow. And that’s exactly what I did, and again the good ones have stayed. This business surprises me and you should never judge people. This opportunity is open to anyone, no matter what their background is, race, education or religion. We have some amazing leaders in our business. Friendships continued to develop and the team kept on growing. I made my meetings more frequent with socials afterwards. Yes I did acheive Level 6 Senior Sales Leader thanks to my team. We were doing sales over £35.000 a campaign which was around Christmas.

“Without a plan your business will remain a dream” I’m obsessed with goals and how to acheive them with a plan. Regular planning sessions are needed with your teams to help keep them focussed and on track. No plan ever runs smoothly in this industry you will probably change it a thousand times. Remember “people and people” and no matter how much you want it for them, it’s up to that individual to action their plan! You cannot do it for people, you have to create Independant Leaders. Year 3 I wanted to acheive Level 7 Executive! What a rollercoaster of a year! Sadly Executive didn’t happen and I beleive for the right reasons. The business was not strong enough to pull me through. We were doing sales of over £50.000 over Christmas campaigns and my plan was to maximise earnings on inflated sales.

So here I am about to start year 4! Executive is still my goal this year and my plans are constantly changing so I can adapt and develop. The business is growing so fast and our team is hugly supportive. I wanted to create a business full of support and empower others to do the same. I’m hugly happy with my progress and most of all our team, our AVON family.

Here are some figures from my business. Based from Campaign 16 which was my start campaign. – each campaign lasts for 3 weeks.

C16 in 2013 was £1356.99

C16 in 2014 was £20.403.00

C16 in 2015 was £25,560.55

C16 in 2016 was £42,384.00

C16 in 2017 ? Estimated £60,000 😬😬😬😬 we shall see!

My advice to others is to keep on developing yourself through personal development, and self education. To be able to duplicate yourself and to help others acheive their goals. To shake off disappointment and keep that focus on the reason why you are doing this. A LIFESTYLE BUSINESS, time with friends and family!

Top 10 methods used to motivate your team of distributors


“The general desire or willingness of someone to do something” Gosh this word “motivation” gets used allot in our industry. It’s your desire to take action!

It’s true that no one is motivated all the time, very hard to maintain this state of mind. However are you committed? As long as you are committed, you can usually find your motivation will help drive you forwards.

Your Job as a sponsor 

You are to help train and motivate your team. You need to be able to “Teach Tom how to Train Becky, how to Sponsor Leanne”. This is called duplication. You need to build depth in your business at least 3 generations deep to earn your residual income. It’s only when your foundations are built and depth created will the money really start to show. This can take 3-5 years on average. You will have many people to sponsor and not all will build depth, but some will. Always work with at least 5 serious people. The power of 5 is huge. I’ll write another blog on the power of 5! AKA Napkin Presentation.

Always think of yourself as a coach, not their boss. You are their to coach/ teach and mentor. If that person you are teaching isn’t really interested or showing you they are serious then the timing of the opportunity isn’t right for them. If this happens then you need the ability to simply move onto another person with your opportunity. Please remember MLM isn’t for everyone, but as long as you have been a good teacher and helped them start their business then you can walk away, knowing you have done your best. 1 in 4 people that you sponsor will usually stay the journey and build a team themselves.

You want to inspire your new distributor, take action, get to work and believe in themselves. You don’t want to be bossy! This is easier said than done, beleive me I know from experience. Trying to motivate a person who isn’t committed is like a full time job! You need to look for people that are self-motivated and willing to work hard and have a huge burned no sensation to change their life.

Self motivated people will build a team with or without you. You will be lucky to have these type of people in your business. The rest will need your help to be motivated.

1. Lead by example.

Set the pace for your team. Never ask anyone to do something that you wouldn’t do yourself. You inspire your team by your actions.

2. Stay in contact. 

You should be having daily or at least weekly calls with your team. Ask lots of questions and see what you can help with.

3. Events

you can arrange to do events together. Home parties are a good place to start! Charity events, baby events, coffee mornings! Anywhere you can pull the team together. People want to be part of something. Enthusiasm is contagious.

4. Personal Development 

Advise your team to read the books in our industry and anything that inspires them. This will help them grow as a person, as will experience. This is a people business and relationships are important. You help your team grow and you will grow with your team.

5. Team days and one to one

whenever possible spend one to one time with your team members. This could be a lunch date, shopping trip, etc. Get to know your team. Find out their goals. Show you care. Create team nights out or summers BBQs for example.

6.  Pep talks

Oh yes we all have our bad days. Make sure you tell them that you believe in them. Be a good listener.

7. Help them get started

You are responsible for teaching your new distributor to get started. They won’t know what to do until you show them. Be a good teacher!

8. Remind people of their why? 

Why did they join your business in the first place. Go through any negativity and remind them why they joined.

9. Don’t work with distributors that won’t do it for themselves 

sometimes there becomes a time when you feel like you are dragging a horse to water! Leave them to it! Go and spend time with those that are building their business. Sometimes tough love can influence them to get off their butt and get to work so that they don’t ge left behind. Remember you are always there for when they are ready to pick it back up again.

10. Advise them to promote the products by using them

You might not like every product your company does, but there will be something you like, people buy from people, through recommendations.

I strongly recommend you read the following that I went through at my team meeting last week…..”The 45 second presentation” by Don Failla He strongly recommends that you motivate someone by working with their depth in their organisation. If your working with 2nd or 3rd generation it automatically keeps your team member excited. However it isn’t your role to sponsor 2nd, 3rd generation and below, that’s your team members responsibility. Your there to help when needed.

Are you procrastinating? The art of taking action!

the action of delaying or postponing something: your first tip is to avoid procrastination.

Are you a panic monster?  

The Panic Monster is dormant most of the time, but he suddenly wakes up when a deadline gets too close or when there’s danger of public embarrassment, a career disaster, or some other scary consequence.

1) It’s unpleasant. Far too much of the procrastinator’s precious time is spent toiling in the Dark Playground, time that could have been spent enjoying satisfying, well-earned leisure if things had been done on a more logical schedule. And panic isn’t fun for anyone.

2) The procrastinator ultimately sells themselves  short, and ends up underachieving and fails to reach their potential, which eats away at you over time and fills you with regret and self-loathing.

3) The Have-To-Dos may happen, but not the Want-To-Dos. Even if the procrastinator is in the type of career where the Panic Monster is regularly present and he’s able to be fulfilled at work, the other things in life that are important to him—getting in shape, cooking elaborate meals, learning to play the guitar, writing a book, reading, or even making a bold career switch—never happen because the Panic Monster doesn’t usually get involved with those things. Undertakings like those expand our experiences, make our lives richer, and bring us a lot of happiness—and for most procrastinators, they get left in the dust.

Does this sound like you? 

Sadly there are many people in our business making themselves busy doing anything but reaching their goals! Well STOP, give yourself a shake. Remember why you joined this business in the first place!

Take action! 

*You need to pick yourself up and do what you need to do, day in a day out. Start working towards getting one lead at a time, one sale at a time. You must take action daily to keep working your plan and following your path.

*Consistency will bring in results.

*Scrap your old plan and start again. Put in place daily actions to help you acheive your plan.

*Set new goals. Think about short term goals to help you get to the bigger goals.

*Stop comparing yourself to others, their success is theirs, start focussing on your own and stop comparing.

*Be productive not busy! The only two things that matter to Income-Generating Businesses – you must put the most time right here:
1. New customers that use your products or service.
2. New business builders that join your team.

*learn new skills to help you diverse.

*Be different and stand out from the crowd, don’t follow what everyone else does. Think outside the box.

*Write action lists daily and review them before bedtime. Structure your day wisely.

*End the day on a positive. Think about what you have achieved, look at your list and tick all the tasks off.  I need to buy a new “to do list” that’s what I’m doing tomorrow!

Remember!  The only thing stopping you from being a success is YOU.

What makes YOU successful in running a Network Marketing business?

Have you joined a Network Marketing business and been promised it’s the next best thing, you will make lots of money and promised the earth? Have you been left deflated and frustrated?

What is needed to be a success? First of all it’s YOU that makes it a success, and I’ll come back to this statement. It’s not luck!

When choosing a Network Marketing business you need to research the following?

1. How old is the company? Has the company been trading at least 5 years? After 5 years of trading the company should have a good idea if its business model works. Our company has been trading 130 years!

2. Are the prices of the product or service competitive? The industry is all about selling the product or service through distributors in high volume. The more we can sell the more we get paid.

3. Is the product or service of good quality? This goes without saying. You want repeat business. The customer needs to be kept interested. In our business we sell cosmetics, homeware, clothes, perfume and jewellery for example. Therefore keeping the customer spending.

4. Is the company innovative and creative? How much investment has been made to develop new products for example and what research and development has gone into the process.

5. What support is on offer? Find out about the persons business you are joining by speaking to their team members and what support they received. Ask how you will be supported, what tools will you receive and advice.

6. How successful is the person taking you on? Ask them about their business and how long they have been doing it, what success they have made Be that big or small, and what inspired them to join the business. You can never ask to many questions.

7. Self educate yourself. This is a big one for me. I have read some very good inspirational books on network marketing and have a clear understanding on how the industry works. This business is all about people, if your not a people person forget it!

8. Are you self motivated? You need stamina to get you through the ups and downs. Think of a rollercoaster it’s a ride and a long one at that! Network marketing is an average of a 10 year plan.

9. Ease of recruitment. How easy is it to recruit people? Are there any kits to buy, start up costs etc. Our company in my opinion offers one of the best packages with no start up costs or kits to buy or stock holding. If you can offer your product or service with little start up costs, it becomes more appealing to everyone.

10. What is the business structure. Ask to see the commission levels and any bonuses on offer. This business takes time to create residual income, and you need to be sure the business model is right for you. We offer £11,500 in recruitment bonuses in your first year to help with earnings whilst you build up your residual pot. Is there someone in the business earning good money? The person recruiting you, should know the structure and be able to give you good sound advice.

“You make your Network Marketing business a success”

This industry is all about YOU and your teams efforts. You need to be self motivated, have drive and ambition. You need to goal set and plan your next move. Can you duplicate yourself? You are in control of your future. How you deal with rejections, upset and when everything feels like it’s going wrong will determine your level of success. Not everyone will stay in your business, it might not be right for them. Timing is everything! Keep the focus and have a goal big enough to pull you through the bad times. You will develop massively in this business.

I personally coach and mentor my team, and as a result I now have the foundations and growth in my business, which continues to grow. I now refer to my team as OUR team as it’s  no longer all about my efforts. The relationships created is a joy in our business. We are an extended family and provide support and guidance. My work ethics have been duplicated and may that continue.

Through good mentoring, good products, right price and ease of recruitment AVON has been and continues to be a success to me and my family and our team.

Is it possible to be a beauty boss and raise children with AVON….?

AVON this is Boss life – Hayley Austin 

I started my AVON business in 2013 when my son Jacob was just 18months old. We as a family had just moved to Huddersfield after spending over 10 years in Northamptonshire. The decision to move to Huddersfield was made for two reasons. We wanted to be closer to my family in the Lake District where I am from. Mark had decided that working at his head office in Bradford would justify the move. Within 2 weeks of moving to Huddersfield my AVON journey began…..

Now I’m not going to say this was easy, it was far from easy! I didn’t know anyone in Yorkshire, never mind Huddersfield. Joining AVON was the perfect excuse to go out and meet people with my son Jacob. I started by building a customer base and had just less than 2 weeks in the 3 weekly campaign to find customers! Thank god I did it. My upline Mandy Grace provided me with books and I went out in my car with Jacob and book dropped to local residents everywhere. I was determined to find customers. My first book drop didn’t go well but I didn’t let that stop me. I tried again and boom my customer base was born. How easy was that? Yes AVON does sell. My first order was due to be placed with AVON and Mandy came out to see me to show me how to process orders, which isn’t difficult! I asked Mandy is there any career progression with AVON? Louise Keye came out to see me and showed me her earnings and shared her story with me. Wow and wow I was inspired! Money talks! My leadership journey began…….

within my first campaign with AVON I retailed just over the £220 needed at the time. I also reached level 1 and had a team of 5 representatives. Wow that was easy, and I did this with my son Jacob. No childcare costs!

By the end of Year 1 I had grown a team and reached Level 5 of our earning opportunity – Advanced Leader. Average earnings £14,000 per year.

By the end of year 2 my team had grown in fact doubled. I ended Year 2 at Level 6 of our earning opportunity.                                                                                                                        – Senior Leader. Average earnings £30,000 per year

By the end of year 3 my foundations were in place and I nearly achieved Level 7. The structure was not quite strong enough but as a team we were doing over £50,000 turnover in a Christmas campaign, which are the sales needed for Level 7. I ended the year a strong level 6.                                                                                                                               – Executive Leader. Average earnings £60,000 per year (This was not acheived)

By the end of Year 4 I’d love to reach Level 7 Executive. My anniversary is September so watch this space.

You can run a business with children 👶 and I attracted many sales leaders also with babies, children and even pregnant. This is a people business and I have spent so much time with my team mentoring and coaching. We have had days out with the kids on those summer days, built friendships, all whilst building a beauty business.

Top Tips to running a business with children 

1. Learn how to say no

As a parent, there are always many calls on your time. As your business starts to grow, the number of people that want to talk with you (“grab coffee sometime?”) seems to grow exponentially. To keep your life manageable you need to learn to say no – both within your professional and personal life.

2. Have reliable childcare

There will be times when you need to attend a meeting or attend conferences and events and will need childcare for your children. For the majority of your time you can run your business with babies and toddlers  without the need for childcare. My Son Jacob started pre school when he was 3, before that I had no childcare and had him with me all the time.

3. Prepare to work between 6am and midnight

Forget about having a 9-5 working existence. There are times when you’ll love having the flexibility to put your family first, for example, attendance at school sports day. But, there are times when you find yourself e-mailing, advertising at midnight and wishing that you had a more normal working hours and patterns. We do not earn like a job. Our aim is to create residual income and this takes a lot of effort at the beginning! You need to build a team to earn.

4. Be focused and disciplined

As a business owner and parent, you have far more calls on your time than the average person. To be able to have it all, you will need to be very focused and disciplined.

5. Be very protective of your quality time

It’s so easy to put your own personal need for quality time after everything else. In fact, you may not even let yourself have any quality time. But to be able to be your best, you need to schedule in quality time for yourself. I must admit I struggle with my own time, I’m far to concerned about helping my team and being there for them.


6. Balance your business, family and “me time”

There will be times when your business will need more of your time and attention, and your family and “me time” will suffer. Similarly, in the school holidays, your family will demand more of your time. However, over time, you should look to balance the demands of the business, your family and make sure there is some time left over for yourself too. Having a network Marketing business allows us to have the time we want and need with family and still earn.

7. Richard Branson in the making?

There are some very high profile entrepreneurs, such as Richard Branson, who have quickly built up a global empire from humble beginnings. Don’t compare yourself to these people – you need to grow your business at a pace that you and your family are comfortable with. In the early days of their businesses, the Martha Lane Fox’s and Richard Branson’s of this world didn’t have as many calls on their time as you do now.

8.  Don’t hide your children

People want to deal with people. The more open you are with your clients and customers about your family and how you juggle the two, the more understanding they will be when, for example, a phone call is interrupted with the immortal words “mummy, mummy I’ve done a poo”. (Believe me, that happens a lot in my house at the moment!) I’m proud I built my foundations of my business with my son.

9. Remember why you started your business in the first place

When times are tough and you wonder whether there’s anything more to life than the business, it’s worth remembering why you’re running your own business. There is nothing quite like having the flexibility to build your professional life around your family commitments. Remember, you can always go back to the 9-5 corporate existence…  your end goal needs to be strong enough to pull you through the bad days.

10. Be realistic with what you can achieve

There are only 24 hours in a day, and I’ve only ever met one person who needed less than six hours’ sleep a night. Your business will grow only as fast as you personally push it. If the pace is getting too fast, then take the foot off the accelerator pedal. Don’t fall into the trap of setting yourself unrealistic targets or unrealistic expectations. Unless you can afford a full time cleaner, a cook and a nanny, the house will not always be tidy and clean, and dinner may not always be freshly cooked and on the table on time.

This is a minimum of a 10 year plan in Network Marketing. My son is now nearly 5 and at school. It’s half term now and as I write this Jacob is in the games room playing. Our future is looking very bright and I can’t wait to see more business growth and continue to build this beast around my family.

What are the attributes of a good leader?

Has anyone ever inspired you to change your life in a significant way that made you healthier, happier, or more fulfilled? If so, you understand the difference that positive inspiration can make in a person’s life. Inspiration is powerful, but it isn’t easy.

I have read and continue to read many books on personal development and the same theme pops up. Are you happy? If the answer is no, what do you need to do to change that? Many of us take years to grow professionally on a personal development level.

Creating the perfect balance of family and work has changed me for the better and I love offering our opportunity to others to help change their lives too.

what are the attributes of a good leader?
1. Care.
If you can’t show a person that you genuinely care about them, do you think you will be able to inspire them? The answer is a resounding, “NO!” Show people you care in your words (“How are you today?”) and your actions (small acts of kindness go a long way).
2. Be enthusiastic.
The saying “enthusiasm is contagious” is common enough to be cliché, but it’s a cliché because it’s true. Reflect enthusiasm every day to the people you are in contact with and I’m willing to wager your genuine smiles, positive energy, and caring concern will be returned ten-fold.
3. Earn trust.
If a person you know and love tells you a secret, it stays between you and them. Trust takes a long time to build, but it can be destroyed overnight, so don’t take part in workplace gossip or unnecessary drama in your social networks so you can be a positive influence that people are unafraid to talk to.
4. If it’s not positive, don’t say it.
It’s easy to criticize people, but that doesn’t mean it’s the right thing to do. Think about it: how do you react if someone insults your intelligence, makes fun of your outfit, or criticizes your performance? Whether the criticism is justified or not, I bet you get upset. No one likes to be criticized, so if you don’t have anything positive to say, don’t say it at all.
5. Build people up.
Small compliments have a way of brightening any day, regardless of the dark shadows that may be overhead. Don’t believe me? Find someone Wearing a frown and make them smile by giving them a compliment. Watch their face light up.
6. Stand your ground.
It’s easy to let life-stress shake our foundation of inner-strength as human beings, but if you want to inspire people around you, learn to stand your ground through thick and thin. Stand firm if you want to show the people around you that even the worst of circumstances can be overcome with positive thinking, continuous improvement, and a never-say-die attitude.
7. Admit your flaws.
Although it is important to not flinch when life throws us a curve-ball, it is equally important to acknowledge the fact that we are all human beings here, and thus are all inherently flawed. Everyone has at least one glaring weakness or two, so accept your short-comings to humanize yourself so people can relate to you on a deeper level. Show me a person who claims to be without fault and I’ll show you a dirty liar.
8. Be an active listener.
Anyone can hear the words other people say, but not many people can actively listen and comprehend those words to fully understand the meaning behind them. Make eye-contact if someone talks to you about their problems and ask follow-up questions to show them you care about what they are going through and want to understand where they are coming from as well as you can.
9. Reach for the stars.
No one will be inspired by a person who resigns themselves to “reality”  Be ambitious, aim high, and never surrender if you want to inspire people that they, too, can accomplish anything they set their mind to.
10. Deliver constructive criticism.

First of all, constructive criticism should only be delivered if it is asked for. Remember point #4: if it’s not positive, don’t say it. If you criticize someone for their flaws without any input requested, you’re just going to upset them. But if you are asked for input, deliver it in a positive manner.
11. Treat everyone equally.
We are all equal human beings regardless of our gender, politics, race, religion, and other factors. Love and care for people without consideration of these irrelevant factors that have no influence on their ability.


Finally be confident! Have a clear vision, show empathy, goal set and make it happen! Be a good coach.

A new goal achieved! 50k + turnover in just 3 weeks…. eeeek

Well I am one very excited Sales Leader today. One of my goals was to generate over £50,000 in a campaign. Each campaign – book lasts for 3 weeks.

As a team in campaign 17 across my generations 1 – 3 (what we get paid on) we did £51,571.65 in just 3 weeks!! Wow wee this is huge and only 3 years into the business. what is even more fantastic is our actual figure of £67,649.19 which is all generations, everyone in my team. The extra £16,077.54 is generations 4+ I do not get paid on the extra 16k as this would have been classes as a pyramid scheme, which this is not as we do not get paid on everyone.

Ok so lets look at previous years figures to see my business growth based on our campaign 17. Generations 1 – 3

2013 Campaign 17 £2,098.88

2014 Campaign 17 £24,858.00

2015 Campaign 17 £31,188.74

2016 Campaign 17 £51,571.65

We all start with just YOU, that’s right just YOU. What you decide to do with your business is up to you.

For me personally I feel a huge sense of achievement to be able to generate a full-time wage on part-time hours is amazing in just 3 years whilst raising my son.

We have 10 levels in our business and earnings are uncapped. To achieve my next goal of Level 7 Executive I need to generate turnover £50,000 in a 3 week period – per campaign. I have achieved the sales needed but the structure below me wasn’t strong enough for me to achieve Level 7. However Campaign 18 has just started so we shall see if Level 7 happens this year.

I am very happy today and this has been achieved by having mentored and sponsored such a brilliant hard-working team, and they have duplicated this and mentored and sponsored their teams. Duplication is a wonderful thing. This is a people business and if you find the right people and help enough of them, you can achieve sales like this too.

The foundations are built, on wards and upwards to the next goal. Lets do this team, we can do this.

Thank you to all my sales leaders, and their teams, all our representatives and customers. The customer is the heart of our business, lets not forget this.

Big goals for 2016

As our Campaign 16 came to a close I celebrated 3 years of being my own boss. I was brave and showed the world my business figures (was 😩 nervous) and I’m proud of everything myself and our teams have achieved.

For anyone that missed my Facebook Live, please see my yearly business growth based on Campaign 16 when I started in 2013. Every campaign lasts for 3 weeks. This means we get a pay check every 3 weeks which is commission based. This business is about allot of people doing a little bit and starts with YOU!

Figures based on Generations 1-3 (this is what we are paid on)

Campaign 16 2013 we turned over £1,335.99 (my very first campaign)

Campaign 16 2014 we turned over £20,405,00

Campaign 16 2015 we turned over £25,460,00

Campaign 16 2016 we turned over £42,383.55

We are currently working on our biggest Christmas 🎄 campaigns, and I cannot wait to see what my business will do.

My goals this year are the following

😄 To reach Level 7 – Executive

😊 To turnover more than 50k in a campaign (3 week period)

😊 To grow the team to generation 5

😊 Comission pay check of £2,000

These goals are huge and when I achieve  them I’ll be extreamly happy and proud of myself and all the team. Network marketing is a people business, we cannot do this business alone, it’s a team effort. I set my goal to Campaign 18 this year. If I don’t reach my goal, then I’ll try again next year.

I started this business with myself and my 18 month old son, on a part time basis. I now earn a full-time wage on part time hours. 😄 I’m planning for our families future, and it’s going to be a good one.

I’ve made plenty of friends along the way. Considering I didn’t know anyone in Yorkshire when I moved here in 2013, I now have a team of over 200 representatives, 20+ sales leaders and still growing! Team work, team work and more team work. I have amazing friends, of which are part of my journey. My son Jacob has friends too, everything is starting to fall into place. I’m still trying to find a balance between work and play, I’m slowly getting there.

Jacob has started school this September and I cannot wait to see what 2017 brings. I’ll be working even harder and changing strategies, to stay ahead and be different but will always remain to be myself. This business keeps you grounded, on your toes, full of joy and excitement with some disappointments along the way.

Did I make the right decision to be a stay at home mum, entrepreneur and wife. HELL YES, and I don’t regret any of it.

I’m officially into year 4 of my business. Let’s see what these Christmas campaigns will bring and go chase those goals, I am.

I’m Just a girl from The Lake District with big dreams!

Time for me to reflect on how far I have come as a mum, wife and entrepreneur.

Over 14 years ago I left my home in the Lake District to pursue a career down south where the opportunities are bigger and salaries are higher. I did what most people in their early 20’s did and chased that dream job. I had a few very good jobs from Sales, account management, logistics and supply chains. I did well and worked in countries such as Morocco, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. What I found was, that these jobs came with many hours and added pressures, always had that “is it Friday yet?” Feeling! I Was glad of the weekend when I could be social with friends.

Fast forward a good 10 years and leaving out the boring bits! In 2010 I met my husband Mark, and we got married in Vegas after going on vacation a few times, we love the place. Our Son Jacob was born in 2012 and I went back to work paying lots of money out on childcare, because that’s what us women do as we feel we cannot take the first few years off, as we may not get employed again especially at senior management level.

I longed for something else, a way to be my own BOSS but still looking after Jacob.

In 2013 we moved to West Yorkshire for Marks work, his work kindly helped us move to keep everything as stress free as possible. Moving to Yorkshire was a gamble as we didn’t know anyone, no family and friends here. A chance for us to start again.

And so my journey with AVON BEGAN. I joined just a week after moving here, I needed to do something that could work with Jacob as we decided I was not going back to work and paying someone else to look after Jacob.

I started in Campaign 16  2013 and as I write this we are going to find out what our results for campaign 16 this year will be. Results on Thursday. I’ll be showing you via live video streaming the power of network marketing and how far I have come with my team and their teams.

As I start the 4th year of my AVON JOURNEY I smile quite happily knowing that I’ve had all the time in the world with my son and built a business that continues to grow and grow. Experienced Many ups and downs. I have made friends, have fun every day, play with makeup, organise my team meetings and much much more. Jacob is now 4 and started school. A massive thank you to my uplines Mandy Grace and Louise Keye for starting me on my journey and showing me the bigger picture!
